I have an Accent?!

Hello! Like I said last week I moved to Altoona. I have had a lot of deja vue this week just being in central PA again during the spring. That’s when I came to this part of the state last year so it feels pretty similar. We have been pretty busy already and have a lot of people we are teaching right now. My companions Elder Knight and Hansen are great. Knight is from Salt Lake and Hansen is from Columbus, OH but lived in New Jersey for a while. They are great, Elder Hansen is still in training so its pretty fun. One of my last days in Oakland we were teaching a girl (Sophie) who has been really solid and we kinda had a goodbye lesson. One of her friends came at the end and talked with us a little bit. After the lesson Sohpie messaged us and said that her friend thought I had like a midwest/southern accent haha. It’s pretty cool that a lot of people think I have an accent here. Especially a hill billy one lol🇺🇸. This transfer is going to be super busy. We are planning to have exchanges with every companionship of elders this transfer which means 7 of them in the next 5 weeks and we go to each district’s district council’s one time so that is 3 more trips to some of those areas. It is a ton of driving but it is cool I’ll get to go to 2 of my old areas for the day and we get to work with a lot more Missionaries. It is definitely my favorite part about being a zone leader. It also snowed my second day here which was pretty crazy. Luckily it should start warming up again, today was about 65 and was really nice!
