Easter, Conference, and More Conference

Hello! This week was kinda slow but awesome! We didn’t have too many lessons and it was hard to get in contact with the people we are working with right now. We did reach out to a lot of people though and invited them to watch General Conference. We had Zone Conference earlier in the week and it was really good! It was alot of fun to see the other missionaries in our zone and to talk with President and Sister Wright. Then we had General Conference this Easter weekend and it was so good. I hope you were all able to watch it and if not please go watch it!! It was very powerful and there were a lot of great messages shared. The second to last talk Elder Bednar invited us to make this year’s conference talks part of our daily studies for the next six months. I’m going to do it and I invite you all to as well. Also Eugene, Oregon Temple!! I said to my companions the night before, “hey Eugene would be a great place for a temple, right in the middle of Medford and Portland. Why don’t they have one yet?!” Well what do you know!! Jesus Christ, the leaders of his Church and the the church itself will never fail you. That is a promise from President Nelson himself and I believe that to be true. If we follow them we will always be able to follow the straight and narrow and the path that leads to a fulness of joy. It isn’t easy, popular or always fun but it is so worth it and you will never regret it. Please listen to them and don’t fear man more than God. Have a good week. Read the Book of Mormon. Have fun!
